We have not found a single company doing what we do or caring for their patients as much as we do. Since the historic judgment of 2001, the government has not met the standards of what can be considered easy access to Medical Cannabis and no company has succeeded to do so. Over and over again, Canadians have challenged the Cannabis Regulations in court, and the courts have found major obstacles to easy access over the years, ordering the government to amend its errors on numerous occasions. The government even attempted to prohibit personal production of medical cannabis plants in 2013, giving way to a historically important court battle that ended in 2016. Canadians created a coalition against repeal in 2013 and collectively donated over 300,000$ to fight the battle in court. The Court’s decision of 2016 stated that Canadians have the right to Medicine at the lowest possible cost, according to the Charter of Liberties and rights. We have proved in court that growing Medical Cannabis is a right and not an option that can be taken away by government. As of august 24th 2016, the people in Canada were once again able to grow their own medical cannabis plants through the new Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR), renewed today with the new Cannabis Act of October 17th 2018. We see today the same problems of accessibility still persisting and it was essential to continue helping Canadians get easy access to their Medical Cannabis.
